βTwo years in and these are the only toys that still get used every single day. The edges are smooth, the colors have not chipped, and my four-year-old has built a hospital, a garage and something he calls the Moon Castle.β𧱠Rainbow Builder Blocks
π The first train, 2011
It started on a living-room floor.
In 2011 Nell and Ravi Hartley spent a rainy month searching for one wooden train that would not fall apart in their son's hands. They never found it, so they opened a shop instead.
Today Little Sprout is still the two of them, a handful of neighbors who know every toy by name, and a test panel of four sticky-fingered children. We only stock what survives them.
